BF2142 Reclamation

With the recent announcement of the latest Battlefield, the nostalgic Battlefield 2142 has somewhat been under a flickering spotlight - good news for us!

Question is, what are your thoughts guys? Will Battlefield 2042 totally overshadow the 15 year old Battlefield 2142 when it's released?

Trailers look great in many ways - Not sure that I will ever be playing 2042 until it it is as old as 2142 : I think it will take that long until my hardware specs & internet connection achieve the required level ;-)

It is safe to say 2042 is going to dominate the press for FPS games for the rest of the year barring some yet unannouced project arrives and steals some hype.  But rather than shadowing 2142 I think it is bringing people back or introducing them for the first time.  This was my favorite BF game and I am so stoked to play it again.

I just dug out my copy of 2142 when I heard about this project. Can't wait to get it going! I loved this game back in the day.
